William Henry Harrison was not just a war hero or the 9th president of the United States he was also the governor of the Indiana Territory in 1801. The baby blue color next to the the red, under the Michigan Territory is the Indiana Territory. He was to help protect settlers that are moving into newly obtained land against Indians. At governor is when Harrison gained his fame, for he lead the attack that resulted in the Battle of Tippecanoe.
